Sirlantzis was born in Thessaloniki and in addition to vocal studies with Charikleia Glavopulu at the Conservatorium of Music and Drama in Athens he also studied violin and piano.\u00a0 Upon receiving his Bachelor of Music he was accepted into the Masters Opera Program at the Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart. He graduated in 2018 under the tutelage of Teru Yoshihara, a recipient of the Onassis Cultural Center&#8217;s scholarship.<\/p>\n<p>While still a student his operatic roles included Calchas <strong><em>LA BELLE HEL\u00c9NE<\/em><\/strong>, the Officer in Philip Glass <strong><em>IN THE PENAL COLONY<\/em><\/strong> at the Onassis Cultural Center with Camerata Armonia-Atenea, the Sprecher <strong><em>DIE ZAUBERFL\u00d6TE<\/em><\/strong> at the Greek National Opera and Don Alfonso <strong><em>COSI FAN TUTTE<\/em><\/strong> at the Daegu Opera house in South Korea. Other recent engagements include Papageno <strong><em>DIE ZAUBERFL\u00d6TE<\/em><\/strong> at the Greek National Opera, Colline <strong><em>LA BOH\u00c8ME<\/em><\/strong> at the Stadthalle Balingen as well as Sparafucile <strong><em>RIGOLETTO<\/em><\/strong>, Frank Maurrant <strong><em>STREET<\/em><\/strong> <strong><em>SCENE<\/em><\/strong> and Mamma <strong><em>AGATA<\/em><\/strong> <strong><em>VIVA<\/em><\/strong> <strong><em>LA<\/em><\/strong> <strong><em>MAMMA<\/em><\/strong> at the Wilhelma Theater, Stuttgart.\u00a0 In 2021 he sang the title role <strong><em>CAPODISTRIAS: MONODRAMA OF A SECRET LIFE,\u00a0 <\/em><\/strong>a one-man opera written for him by Calliope Tsoupaki, at the Greek National Opera.<\/p>\n<p>Timos was a semi-finalist at the 2022 Belvedere Singing Competition and the 2020 Ottavio Ziino Competition and was a finalist at the 2022 Vincero Opera Competition. He was also named as one of the \u2018Twenty Young Future Opera Stars\u2019 by the British magazine <em>Opera Now<\/em> in March of 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2018 Timos has been an ensemble member of the Staatstheater am G\u00e4rtnerplatz, Munich where his roles have included Leporello, Masetto and the title-role <strong><em>DON GIOVANNI<\/em><\/strong>, Lindorf\/Coppelius\/Dr. Miracle\/Dapertutto <strong><em>LES CONTES D&#8217;HOFFMANN<\/em><\/strong>, Sparafucile and Monterone <strong><em>RIGOLETTO<\/em><\/strong>, Don Basilio <strong><em>IL BARBIERE DI SIVIGLIA<\/em><\/strong>, Don Alfonso <strong><em>COSI FAN TUTTE<\/em><\/strong>, Sarastro <strong><em>DIE ZAUBERFL\u00d6TE<\/em><\/strong>, Angelotti <strong><em>TOSCA<\/em><\/strong>, the Cold Genius <strong><em>KING ARTHUR <\/em><\/strong>and Nourabad <strong><em>LES PECHEURS DE PERLES<\/em><\/strong>.
