Praised as an <em>\u201cexplosive talent\u201d<\/em> with her flowing and warm middle voice, rippling coloratura and effortless trills, she <em>\u201cwields an impressive range, effortlessly reaching higher than high notes\u201d<\/em> with her stratospheric vocal extension.<\/p>\n<p>Ms. Flack\u2019s recent engagements include her European debut as Mollie in the world premiere of Alexander Raskatov\u2019s <strong><em>ANIMAL FARM <\/em><\/strong>at the Dutch National Opera, Elisa <strong><em>IL RE PASTORE,<\/em><\/strong> La Musica &#038; Euridice <strong><em>L\u2019ORFEO <\/em><\/strong>and Madeleine <strong><em>THE FALL OF THE HOUSE OF USHER <\/em><\/strong>for Orpheus|PDX (Portland) the title-role <strong><em>SEMELE, <\/em><\/strong>Elvira <strong><em>L\u2019ITALIANA IN ALGERI <\/em><\/strong>and Gilda <strong><em>RIGOLETTO <\/em><\/strong>for St Petersburg Opera, <strong><em>Carmina Burana <\/em><\/strong>with the Toledo Symphony Orchestra and the Wife <strong><em>PAINTED SKIN <\/em><\/strong>with the American-Chinese Music Institute of the Bard College Conservatory of Music.<\/p>\n<p>Upcoming engagements include Mollie <strong><em>ANIMAL FARM <\/em><\/strong>at Wiener Staatsoper, Finnish National Opera and Teatro Massimo, Palermo and Morgana <strong><em>ALCINA <\/em><\/strong>for St Petersburg Opera.<\/p>\n<p>As a young artist Ms. Flack covered Marie <strong><em>LA FILLE DU REGIMENT<\/em><\/strong> with Fargo-Moorhead Opera, Olympia<strong><em> LES CONTES D\u2019HOFFMANN<\/em><\/strong> for St. Petersburg Opera and performed Maggie Anderson <strong><em>BRIGADOON<\/em><\/strong> with Ohio Light Opera. Other engagements include\u00a0 Queen of the Night <strong><em>THE MAGIC FLUTE<\/em><\/strong> and Morgana <strong><em>ALCINA <\/em><\/strong>for Fargo-Moorehead Opera, Oph\u00e9lie <strong><em>HAMLET<\/em><\/strong> for Opera Ithica, Elvira<strong><em> L\u2019ITALIANA IN ALGERI<\/em><\/strong> for Winter Opera St Louis and the title-role <strong><em>DINORAH <\/em><\/strong>for Amore Opera. Engagements impacted by the COVID19 pandemic included her Canadian debut as the Queen of the Night <strong><em>THE MAGIC FLUTE <\/em><\/strong>with Opera Atelier, Toronto.<\/p>\n<p>She was a featured young artist with the iSing! International Young Artists Festival, where she was specifically chosen to perform for China\u2019s National Day Celebration on Dragon TV, one of the largest official television networks in Shanghai. She was also featured on Jiangsu Weishi TV, a national network, in celebration of the Chinese New Year. Since those appearances she has travelled regularly to China for concerts in different cities around the country.<\/p>\n<p>Ms. Flack made her international debut at the Trentino Music Festival in Mezzano, Italy singing the role of Vixen <strong><em>THE CUNNING LITTLE VIXEN<\/em><\/strong>. She has also performed with the Bel Canto Opera Festival, Astoria Opera Festival and Operafestival di Roma. Originally from Portland, Oregon she holds a Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Vocal Performance from St. Olaf College and a Master\u2019s Degree in Vocal Performance from the University of
