Daria Masiero

Daria Masiero studied singing and cello at the Conservatorio Antonio Vivaldi in Alessandria with Rita Orlandi Malaspina, and in Vignola with Mirella Freni. She won a Diploma di Accademia at the Teatro alla Scala, Milan; she was a Cardiff Singer of the World finalist in 2005, as well as the winner of the Caruso competition in Milan in 2000. Upcoming roles include the title-role NORMA for the Croatian National Opera.
On the concert platform Ms Masiero has performed Rossini’s Stabat Mater in Nice and Monte Carlo, Mozart’s Requiem at the Paganini Auditorium in the Teatro Regio di Parma with tenor José Carreras, a concert dedicated to ‘Puccini’s Women’ at Torre del Lago with Plácido Domingo, was soloist in Mendelssohn’s A Midsummer’s Night’s Dream and Adelia from Donizetti’s UGO, CONTE DI PARIGI in concert at the Arcimboldi Theatre in Milan.
