Praised by Opera News as “magnificent,” rising soprano Hanna Brammer is making a splash on the operatic scene. She has interpreted many of opera’s most beloved soprano roles to great acclaim, including Juliette ROMÉO ET JULIETTE, Leïla THE PEARL FISHERS, Michaëla CARMEN, Pamina DIE ZAUBERFLÖTE for Sarasota Opera, Violetta LA TRAVIATA for Opera Tampa, Gilda RIGOLETTO for Sarasota Opera, Opera Project Columbus and Opera Mississippi, Lauretta GIANNI SCHICCHI and Musetta LA BOHEME for Salt Marsh Opera, Wellgunde DAS RHEINGOLD for Pacific Symphony and Woglinde DAS RHEINGOLD for Pittsburgh Festival Opera,  Mabel THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE for Knoxville Opera and Marzelline FIDELIO and Nedda PAGLIACCI for St Petersburg Opera,
Equally at home interpreting the classics as she is performing lesser known works, Brammer’s other performance credits include Vespina L’INFEDELTÀ DELUSA,  Nuri TIEFLAND, Sofia IL SIGNOR BRUSCHINO, Carolina IL MATRIMONIO SEGRETO, and Giulia LA SCALA DI SETA, all for Sarasota Opera.
Hanna made her professional debut as Rose Maurrant in Opera North’s 2014 production of STREET SCENE.  Since then, she has gone on to perform leading roles with opera companies across North America, as well as orchestras including Pacific Symphony, The Florida Orchestra, Sarasota Chamber Orchestra, Glacier Symphony, and Jacksonville Symphony. Brammer holds a Bachelor’s Degree in vocal performance from Manhattan School of Music where she sang the title-role of Nina in the U.S. premiere of Paisiello’s NINAO SIA LA PAZZA PER AMORE and a Master’s Degree from Indiana University, where her roles included Valencienne THE MERRY WIDOW,Musetta LA BOHÈME, the title-role SEMIRAMIDE and Nella GIANNI SCHICCHI.
